Metallic Sportswear

Hi guys! I have been very busy volunteering at london fashion week so I havent had time to blog but now the fashion crazy week is over I can get back to posting.

This is my outfit of the day which I would like to share with you all.. I decided to combine my two favourite trends of the moment – metallics and sports wear. I just had to buy these shorts when I saw them, mainly because I adore the laid back runner/sport style, and unlike hotpants or jean shorts, they are very comfortable whilst looking on trend. I think feeling comfortable in your clothes shows and definately makes you feel more confident!

I recently purchased these pair of wedged trainers in eye popping royal blue. I have worn them almost everyday since I bought them as they are so comfy and go with everything! also do them in silver, black and red. Not to mention, they give me a little bit of height which never goes a miss.

Blouse – £7.99, Zara

Shorts – £20, Bershka

Wedges – £25 ,

silver cuff – £4.99 , New Look

Satchel Bag – £17.99 , New Look

I have been in love with this shirt ever since I bought it, It was on sale in Zara, and instantly caught my eye. The print was so interesting and I had to look twice to figure out what it was. Also, being light grey, it means you can add print into your outfit without being too overpowering – allowing you to work in other bright colours. I was thinking of maybe teaming this top with a pair of red skinnies.

Would love to hear what you all think of this look

If you could leave a comment that would be great!

Pastel Pop

For what seems a lifetime, I have been trying to search for the perfect, trusty designer handbag. However, whilst in H&M yesterday a beautiful baby blue bowling bag caught my eye. It had silver zips and detailing, which is what I have been searching for as most bags have gold  (I wear mostly silver jewelery so  gold always clashes).

Not to mention,  I had been feeling very down with all the gloomy weather and dark evenings, and this pretty pastel bag could be just the thing to brighten up my mood. Not only was the price tag an impressive £30, it would be saving me hundreds of pounds. This meant that I could buy more clothes and have a bag which I adored. I wasnt going to pass this up.

Although it looks like a sturdy square bag, it is actually quite flexible and roomy. I hate those structured bags that hurt your arm everytime you go to pull out your hairbrush.

This bag is the perfect transitional accessory to move into spring.
(and no doubt put a spring in your step to)

I was browsing new collections the other day when I came across the IRO S/S 13 lookbook. I have never seen a collection where I have adored every single piece. I literally wanted to be the model in the pictures. But thats what a lookbook is all about right? Every good designer should make people feel like that towards their clothes.
I am obbsessed with IROS effortlessly cool vibe.

The silhouettes are amazing, from the oversized bomber jackets paired with a pair of beachy white hotpants. I also noticed that all the jeans are ankle grazer cut, which is my absolute favourite style of jean. I think it always gives that bit of edge and youth as sometimes jeans can look old fashioned depending on what they are worn with. I am also a massive fan of the white jean, which i usually team with my black converse or boots. Even in the winter.
I think winter white is always a good move.

The white lace/crochet dress is my stand out piece from the whole collection. It is sexy, but not in your face sexy. Much more classy and the white keeps the innocence. So beautiful!

This whole collection just screams santa monica beach cool kid. I want it all!

I think this collection will be a very popular one this summer. Its easy to wear and so fresh and youthful.

Alice In The City

After a hectic start of the week with photoshoots, organising my team and assistants, returning clothes, I can finally relax.. The shoot day was such a good experience to really dive into the life of a stylist/photographer. I am very pleased with my pictures and they have come out just as i wanted them! It took alot of planning and hard work but it was definately worth it with the end results

Fashion Fairtyale

Hey everybody, i decided i wanted my first post to be  something personal.

I have been planning a photoshoot for months which is a project given to me by my current college – the London College of Fashion. I am currently studying a fashion media and communication diploma, but i have chosen the visual pathway for term two. Which is styling and photography. The assignment was pretty much open to what we wanted. I decided on choosing a “fairytale” theme, with influences from alice in wonderland and romance. Here are some pictures which i got inspiration from.
